Position Summary
MTM is seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Generalist to support all aspects of the HR function. Serving as the primary point of contact for employees, the HR Generalist ensures a positive employee experience through responsive support and the meticulous administration of HR processes. This role is central to the organization's talent management, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
Salary: $76,000 - $98,500
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Support
Serve as the first point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries related to benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, and other HR matters.
Effectively handle routine employee issues, escalating complex matters to the HRBP as necessary.
Back up to HRBP for discipline and termination recommendations / meetings.
Talent Lifecycle Management
Oversee a smooth and timely onboarding process for new hires that ensures early engagement.
Manage the offboarding process, ensuring all necessary steps are completed.
Administer the new hire & exit survey processes and analyzes the reports to make recommendations based on the data and trends.
Benefits Administration:
Manage and administer group, DCPP, and Life Insurance benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment and data maintenance
Assist with benefits enrollment and changes, answering employee questions on basic benefits information, and escalating complex inquiries to the HRBP or benefits provider.
Data Management & Reporting
Review monthly HR scorecard and other monthly, quarterly and annual HR reporting for continuous improvement opportunities and to meet annual HR goals.
Assist the HR team with ad hoc reporting needs and special projects as assigned.
Collaboration & Representation:
Represent MTM at community and recruitment events as required.
Take a lead role in developing communications for HR programs and events to all employees.
Work with colleagues, including site HR teams, and Systems Lead, to collect and coordinate yearly and quarterly global HR data for various reporting requirements.
The successful candidate for this role will posses:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience at the HR Generalist level
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related study
- A solid understanding of core HR processes, policies, data management principles, and employee benefits administration.
- Experience navigating HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred) and managing complex data sets across multiple systems.
- The ability to work independently, identify potential issues, and determine the appropriate level of urgency for escalation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, empathetic support to employees at all levels.
- High level of accuracy in administrative tasks, particularly concerning payroll-impacting data and budget tracking.
- Superior MS Excel skills.
