About the Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Centerra Langeloth team. In this hybrid role, you will be involved in short and long-term financial planning and will also play a crucial role in the forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning process.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long-term plans.
- Assist with managing cash flows forecasting model, driving model improvements and ensuring consistency with underlying data in the FP&A software.
- Analyze differences between actual, budget and forecast operating drivers and financial results and proved effective analysis to site management.
- Drive the effort to improve current monthly financial reports and develop new reports to provide necessary data to make business decisions.
- Support the Operations and Commercial teams in supply and sales contracts negotiation process, managing a financial model and analysis of contract terms and financial implications.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
- Conduct benchmarking and market analysis, as necessary.
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
- Assist in preparation of business cases/models to support new investment, and to make business decisions.
- Support the Manager, Finance with any other FP&A activities/projects, including a variety of process improvement initiatives.
About You
The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field. CPA or CFA designation and experience working in a similar is preferred.
- Proven track record in financial forecasting, reporting and analysis.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP or Other ERP systems.
- Working experience with S4 HANA and Oracle Hyperion financial reporting and planning tools.
- Four to six years accounting experience, including at least two years in budgeting, forecasting, and modeling experience in an FP&A/Finance-related role.
- Strong ability to develop and foster constructive cross-functional relationships to ensure smooth and timely collection of information required for various FP&A purposes.
