About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Packer to join our Centerra Langeloth team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient packaging of materials for distribution and transportation. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspects materials ensuring quality and quantity meets specifications and established standards.
  • Identifies defects, impurities, or foreign objects in materials and reports them as needed.
  •  Operates packaging machinery and equipment.
  • Ensures correct packaging materials are used.
  • Weighs and measures materials accurately before packaging to meet predetermined weight requirements.
  • Conducts quality checks on packaged materials and reports any deviations from quality standards.
  • Adheres to safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace and performs routine maintenance and cleaning as required.
  • Maintains accurate records of packaged materials and complete packing logs, production reports and any other relevant documentation.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  •  Assists with loading packaged materials onto trucks or other transportation vehicles.
  • Unload materials and parts from transportation vessels using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with established procedure and specifications.
  • Stays up to date on industry best practices and refresher trainings throughout the year of all SOP’s and JSA’s.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.
  • Previous experience in similar role is a plus.
