About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Junior Analyst, Supply Chain (Student) to join the Centerra Corporate team. This position is a hybrid role based at our Toronto, ON office. 

Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Specialist, the Junior Analyst, Supply Chain (Student) – supports data analysis, KPI development, process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain function.

This role focuses on enabling better decision-making through data, improving operational processes, and supporting the implementation of tools and automation solutions, with exposure to multiple areas such as planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collect and organize Supply Chain data from internal systems.
  • Assist with updating reports and dashboards related to inventory, service levels, and supplier performance.
  • Support ongoing reporting and basic data checks.
  • Help track KPIs and document supply chain processes.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Work with Excel, Power BI, and other tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in testing and rollout of new tools and improvements.
  • Support purchasing activities, including requisitions and order tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Maintain organized procurement records.
  • Assist in maintaining supplier and category information.
  • Help organize documents, templates, and SharePoint content for team use.

About You

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or similar tools is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis, reporting, and process mapping concepts.
  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and/or automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Python, VBA) is an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
