About the Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Drafter to join the Centerra Langeloth team. This position is an onsite role based in Langeloth, PA, and will be responsible for creating technical drawings of facility buildings and structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Must be able to interpret and understand plans and specifications and have knowledge of building materials, engineering practices and construction methods.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Liaise with Engineers and Operations to determine structural requirements and designs.
- Create technical drawings as per the specifications and calculations provided.
- Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow.
- Review and verify the accuracy of drawings and documents and revise drawings as needed.
- Develop and maintain design standards.
- Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
- Collect, categorize and maintain Engineering documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and to safeguard critical business information.
About You
The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in drafting, engineering or a relevant field.
- Experience with AutoCAD software (2-3 years minimum).
- Experience in electrical, mechanical and structural engineering disciplines.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
