About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Manager, Engineering & Reliability to join the Centerra Langeloth team. This position is an onsite role based in Langeloth, PA, and is responsible for overseeing and optimizing engineering processes, ensuring the reliability and performance of products or systems, and managing a team of engineers. This role drives innovation, quality, and efficiency. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the engineering team and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the technical and budget performance of the team.
  • Ensure engineering systems, standards, specifications, processes, and procedures are regularly reviewed, updated, and consistently implemented, with a focus on continuing improvement and compliance.
  • Work together with the project teams and functional managers to achieve project objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support the business with workload forecasting and overall engineering resource planning.
  • Develop and implement reliability engineering standard and practices.
  • Provide input to proposals and projects regarding resources, strategies, technical content, and execution effort.
  • Review and implement engineering / technical tools including software and standards. 
  • Provide staff with coaching, mentoring, and support career planning and professional development. 
  • Conduct performance reviews and continually improve the team's capability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of engineering activities ad prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management.

About You

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Registration (P. Eng) preferred.
  • Strong leadership and relationship building capabilities with the capacity to delegate appropriately. 
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to be open-minded and innovative.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and designers and provide technical leadership. 
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative in working with the business and project teams in a proactive manner to meet and/or exceed targets.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience.
  • Proven experience in reliability engineering and process optimization.
