We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate, and self-motivated “Mine Operation Engineer” for our project in Develi / Kayseri.

About The Opportunity

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that the activities of the contractor companies are carried out in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations, company procedures and occupational health and safety rules,
  • Providing that open pit mining activities are carried out in accordance with the Öksüt Madencilik Environmental Policy and procedures, environmental legislation, and international environmental standards,
  • Providing efficient use of equipment’s,
  • Taking active role at management of change at site in a cooperation with mine planning unit,
  • Providing that open pit waste and ore production activities are carried out in accordance with procedures and planning, coordinating, and providing precise execution of excavation, loading, weighing, and stocking activities,
  • Coordinating and providing the operation of waste casting areas in accordance with the plans,
  • Coordinating and providing the operation of ore stock areas according to procedures,
  • Coordinating and providing the operation of crusher feeding activities according to the procedures,
  • Controlling open pit ore production, directing, and coordinating the recording of crusher feed and stock activities according to plans and procedures,
  • Reporting the activities performed during the shift to the supervisor,
  • Transferring and reporting the current inventory record to the next shift engineer at the end of the shift,
  • Providing and controlling the safe, efficient operation and preservation of all kinds of tools, equipment, machinery in responsibility. Ensuring that failures occurring are dealt with as soon as possible and safely.

About You

To qualify, the following skills and experiences are required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mine Engineering,
  • Able to work in shifts,
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar position in a precious metal mining open pit operation,
  • Good command of MS Office applications,
  • Good English skills are preferred,
  • Team player,
  • Effective communication skills,
  • Be an active driver,
  • Residing in Develi district or willing to relocate
  • This position is Associate level.
