We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate, and self-motivated Procurement Chief for our project in Develi, Kayseri.

About The Opportunity

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting with developing Company procurement strategy, especially with regards to local procurement,
  • Maximizing the benefits of the supplier partnerships,
  • Reviewing current policy and procedures of procurement and recommending revision of those procedures periodically and in case of urgent needs,
  • Coordinating procurement process as per approved procedures,
  • Ensuring all the purchases meet specifications, pricing, and quality, are delivered on time, in full and accurately invoiced against the approved purchase order,
  • Ensuring the procurements are accurately documented and recorded,
  • Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, and relevant internal departments,
  • Analyzing market trends and issue periodic reports on lead times and purchase price variances,
  • Performing Supplier/Contractor Pre-Qualification and Post performance activities as per Company policy and procedures,
  • Managing and coordinating Inventory Material Requirements Planning during the operational phase,
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports for procurement activities,
  • Being responsible of the process of supplier evaluation and management,
  • Analyzing of forecast of price trends and their impact on future activities.

About You

To qualify, the following skills and experiences are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Engineering preferably)
  • Experience 8 years in Procurement – Mining experience will be plus,
  • Fluent in English in both written and verbal communication,
  • Problem solving and decision-making skill,
  • Being strong communicator and having good negotiating skills,
  • Analytical thinking, result and quality-oriented approach and good interpersonal skills,
  • Being awareness of global and company HSE rules and apply to all his/her work,
  • High standards of accuracy, proficiency at working with strict deadlines and under pressure, and ability to prioritize tasks,
  • Proactive and able to work independently, but also as part of a team,
  • Good command of MS Office Applications, SAP knowledge will be plus,
  • Residing in Kayseri Develi district or willing to relocate.
