We are looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate, and self-motivated Business Development Specialist for our headquarter office in Ankara.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our team. (Associate Level)

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct research, collect, process, and analyze data from various sources, such as company reports, industry publications, databases, and online platforms,
  • Monitor and update the performance and valuation of mining companies and development projects, using financial and technical indicators,
  • Assist senior managers with various tasks, such as preparing proposals, conducting due diligence, preparing presentations on based technical evaluations or other topics as required,
  • Follow up the process of current projects, and support defining new projects’ potentials and risks,
  • Assist financial valuation studies for current projects,
  • Support the authorized financial institution for completing the valuation report by sending necessary information and documentation within the scope of company valuation procedures,
  • Prepare reports of potential mine projects,
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports,
  • Be in communication with third party companies. Also, assist and support Due Diligence processes,
  • Actively support the development projects of the company, provide internal and external support of related contents,
  • Work with a cross-functional project or deal team collaboratively,
  • Work with outside counterparties as appropriate (including target companies’ financial responsible, consultants and legal advisors),
  • Perform site visits for longer period if necessary.

About You

To qualify, the following skills and experiences are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering with preferably an MBA in management,
  • 1-5 years of experience in mining sector,
  • Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment is a plus,
  • Strong English language skills,
  • Proficiency in using various software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI and data visualization tools, leapfrog, MapInfo, ArcGIS, or similar programs,
  • Knowledge of CRIRSCO standards,
  • Being available for frequent travel for extended periods,
  • Work in a team environment,
  • Strong negotiation and representation skills,
  • Ability to take initiative,
  • Strong research and detail-oriented skills,
  • A willingness to learn and increase technical capacity and professional qualifications.
  • This position is Associate level.
